Arsenal and Chelsea to swoop for Brazilian wonderkid?
Arsenal and Chelsea could go head-to-head to sign Athletico Paranaense youngster Vitor Roque this summer.
The 18-year-old is one of the most promising talents from Brazilian football and he has been touted for a big European move.
Barcelona have been constantly linked with him, but as things stand, they are not in a position to buy him due to their transfer ban.
La Liga have made it clear that they need to slash their wage bill by £177m before they can spend freely in the transfer market.
It is now reported by Sport that Arsenal and Chelsea are looking at the prospect of bringing Roque to the Premier League.
Roque, who has been likened to Luis Suarez, can play as a centre-forward or on the right side of the attack. He is valued at €60m.
Paranaense are willing to accept a lesser fee if the interested club is prepared to include a high sell-on clause as part of the deal.
