Chelsea to sell four midfielders this summer?
Chelsea could sanction the sale of four midfielders during the summer transfer window, according to Standard Sport.
The west London giants have spent a staggering £600 million over the last year and they will need to balance their books.
It is now reported that they are planning for the same and as many as four midfielders could be shown the exit door.
Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic have been key players for the club, but could be sold as part of the summer overhaul.
The duo have their contracts expiring at the end of next season and Chelsea are prepared to cash in for a reasonable fee.
Alongside the pair, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Conor Gallager could also make way in the upcoming transfer window.
Elsewhere, the Blues are also planning to offload attacking duo Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech, who are out-of-favour.
Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy could likewise make way from the club as they look to bring in a new number one for next season.
