Man City and Liverpool want Chelsea defender?
Manchester City and Liverpool have identified Chelsea defender Levi Colwill as a potential target for the summer.
The Blues have spent over £600 million on signings over the past year and they will need to balance their books.
Hence, they are open to selling some of their prized assets. It is claimed that City and Liverpool have an eye on Colwill.
The youngster is currently on a season-long loan at Brighton where he has impressed with his performances thus far.
The Blues are likely to retain his services in the summer but City and Liverpool will try to persuade them to sell.
Colwill was valued at around £35 million last year. The Blues could be tempted to sanction his exit for £50 million.
The 20-year-old has a contract until the summer of 2025 but could be enticed to move on for regular playing time.
In our opinion, Liverpool could be the best destination for him. He could cement a starting spot over the coming years.
