Chelsea make Frank Lampard managerial decision
Chelsea have decided to stick with Frank Lampard as their interim manager for the remainder of the campaign.
The Blues appointed Lampard as their caretaker boss earlier this month after parting ways with Graham Potter.
However, this has not had any positive effect on the team. They have lost their last five games in all competitions.
The Blues have another six matches left before the end of the season and things could get worse before getting better.
Despite this, the hierarchy are quite clear that they won't make another change at the helm until the campaign ends.
Lampard will be kept in charge regardless of the performances. Chelsea will confirm their permanent manager this summer.
As things stand, Mauricio Pochettino is the front-runner for the job and a contract is expected to be negotiated soon with him.
The likes of Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann have pulled out of negotiations with the Blues over the past few weeks.
