Arsenal close to agreeing fresh terms with 24-year-old

Arsenal are reportedly close to agreeing a new long-term contract with goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The England international has been in superb form for the Gunners this term, keeping 13 clean sheets in the Premier League.

His progress has impressed the club's hierarchy and football.london claim that he will be rewarded with an improved deal.

The club are currently in advanced talks with Bukayo Saka and he is expected to pen a new contract in the coming weeks.

Ramsdale is another in discussions with the club's officials. The Gunners are likely to double his weekly wages of £60,000-a-week.

Apart from the duo, the north London giants are also hopeful of prolonging the stay of William Saliba with a bumper contract.

His current deal expires in the summer of 2024 and negotiations have been ongoing to convince him to commit his future.

There is optimism from the club's side that Saliba will eventually pen a renewal, thereby ending speculation over his future.
