Chelsea planning swap deal for Victor Osimhen

Chelsea are ready to negotiate a swap deal to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen this summer, as per The Mail.

The Nigerian has been a revelation for the Serie A club this term, bagging 28 goals from just 35 appearances thus far.

Ahead of the summer, he has been linked with a Premier League move and it is claimed that the Blues are one of his suitors.

The report adds that the capital outfit could include Christian Pulisic or Romelu Lukaku as a makeweight to sign him.

Osimhen is currently valued at €150 million by Napoli and the Serie A champions have no plans of negotiating the fee.

Hence, it could be difficult to persuade them over a swap agreement. They could stay firm over a straight cash transfer.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea are prepared to make such an outlay in case Napoli decline their swap proposal.

Aside from the Blues, Manchester United are also heavily interested in landing the former Lille man this summer.
