Chelsea expected to make first bid for South American star
Chelsea are expected to make their opening bid for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo in the coming days.
Caicedo was on the Blues radar during the January transfer window, but Brighton were reluctant to sanction his exit.
The Seagulls are now open to selling him and Sky Sports claim that Chelsea are expected to make a formal approach.
The Blues are currently in the process of offloading players such that they can recoup funds to balance their financial accounts.
They have agreed to sell Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic to Arsenal and Manchester City and more departures are duo soon.
Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech are likely to leave for Saudi while Mason Mount could be Manchester United bound.
Once they sort out the outgoings, the Blues will concentrate on purchasing Caicedo, who could cost a fee in the region of £100m.
Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in the player, but Chelsea are favourites with personal terms already agreed.
