Marc Cucurella makes Chelsea transfer decision

Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella has no plans of leaving the club amid interest from Atletico Madrid and Saudi Arabian teams.

The Spaniard joined the Blues for £60 million from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer, and he had a difficult debut campaign.

The Blues are now willing to offload him with the emergence of Lewis Hall, but Cucurella is adamant that he won't part ways.

The former Getafe man is determined to fight for his place under new manager Mauricio Pochettino rather than moving on.

Ben Chilwell is likely to be Chelsea's number one right-back next season.

Hall has been touted to provide back-up to his compatriot, but he could be loaned out, suppose Cucurella does not change his stance.

Cucurella's valuation has dropped over the past 12 months, and Chelsea would not want to lower the price further by not playing him.

Chelsea currently face a similar situation with Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher, who are reluctant to pursue fresh moves elsewhere.
