Arsenal ready to make first bid for Spaniard

Arsenal are prepared to make an opening offer to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya in the coming days.
The Gunners have been long-term admirers of the Spain international, and they were initially keen on signing him in 2020.
Back then, they were unable to persuade the Bees to sell him, but the situation is now different with his deal expiring next summer.
Raya has decided against penning a new deal with the west London side, and they are likely to sanction his sale before the deadline.
Bayern Munich have also expressed an interest in his services, but they are only exploring a loan deal with an option to purchase.
Brentford currently value Raya in the region of £30 million, but the Gunners are planning to make a low bid of £15 million.
The north London giants believe they are in a strong position to bargain for Raya, and are hopeful of landing him for a lesser fee.
Raya has already given the green light to join Arsenal. He prefers to sign for the Gunners instead of making the switch to Bayern.
