Arsenal prepared to sell USA international for £5m
Arsenal prepared to sell USA international for £5m
Arsenal are prepared to part ways with Auston Trusty for £5million amid interest from Sheffield United.
The Gunners signed Trusty from Colorado Rapids for £1.5m last summer, and he was loaned out to Birmingham City last season.
Trusty had a good spell with the Blues in the Championship, and he was voted as their Player of the Season by the club's supporters.
It is now reported that the Gunners are prepared to part ways with the USA international. The 24-year-old could stay in England.
Talks are currently ongoing with Sheffield over a transfer and it is claimed that the Gunners could receive around £5 million for him.
Arsenal signed a new left-footed centre-back in Jakub Kiwior in January which has probably ended Trusty's chances of staying.
Aside from Trusty, the Gunners are expected to part ways with Rob Holding, Cedric Soares, Nicolas Pepe and Folarin Balogun.
Balogun could be the most high-profile departure from the squad. Arsenal are looking for at least £40 million to sanction his exit.
