Everton have made an official bid to sign winger Jesper Lindstrøm from Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, with the Denmark international reportedly available for around 17.5 million euros. Lindstrom moved to Germany in 2021 after impressing in his home country with Brondby.

Everton manager Sean Dyche wants to add attacking impetus to his squad before the transfer window closes, and Lindstrom has emerged as the club's top target. With ten caps for his country of Denmark, and one goal, Lindstrom is seen as one of Scandinavia's brightest attacking prospects.

The 23-year-old has caught the eye with a number of impressive displays in the Bundesliga, and was an important member of the club's team that won the Europa League in 2021-22.

Everton have struggled to sign players on the transfer market, not due to a lack of funding but a failure to attract top quality talent.

The Toffees are expected to be very busy up until the close of the transfer window at the end of the month, and Lindstrom is likely to be one of the most interesting transfer acquisitions of the window.
