West Ham & Nottingham Forest want £30m Arsenal defender
West Ham United and Nottingham Forest are battling to sign Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares on a permanent basis.
The Portuguese joined the Gunners from Benfica in the summer of 2021, and had a below-par debut campaign.
As a result, he was loaned out to Marseille in the recent season. He registered six assists for the French outfit.
It is now reported that Tavares' next move could be in the Premier League with both West Ham and Forest keen.
Forest have already signed Matt Turner from the Gunners, and they are currently favourites in Tavares' race.
Arsenal bought the left-back for around £8m two years ago, but they are prepared to sell him for a good profit.
According to Mirror, Forest could be willing to pay around £30m to prise him away from the north London side.
Tavares has also received offers from overseas, but he has made the decision to continue in the Premier League.
Aside from Tavares, the Gunners are also expected to offload the likes of Rob Holding, Cedric Soares, Nicolas Pepe.
