Man Utd defender out for around two months?
Manchester United defender Luke Shaw could be on the sidelines for a prolonged period with a muscular injury.
The left-back suffered the setback in the recent game against Tottenham Hotspur and it was recently reported that he could be out for weeks.
However, Manchester Evening News claim that the setback is much serious than anticipated and he could miss around two months of action.
The news is a huge blow for the Mancunian giants, considering Tyrell Malacia has been nursing an injury since the start of pre-season.
The Dutchman picked up the setback on international duty over the summer and he is currently weeks away from making his comeback.
In the absence of the duo, Diogo Dalot is expected to fill in the left-back spot for the upcoming clash against Nottingham Forest at home.
United are in the market for a new left-back option. It has emerged that they could attempt to sign Ryan Bertrand, who is currently a free-agent.
