Brennan Johnson linked with Tottenham move

Tottenham are readying a £50 million transfer offer to sign Nottingham Forest striker Brennan Johnson before the end of the transfer window. The 22-year-old Wales international has impressed since Forest have arrived back in the Premier League, and last season Johnson returned a decent eight goal haul in 38 league appearances.
Chelsea were rumoured to be in the race to sign the versatile forward, but recent reports in the press predicts that the club are done with their business for the current transfer window.
Johnson is one of the Premier League's brightest attacking prospects and it comes as no surprise that Spurs are considering a move for the player. Having sold Harry Kane to Bayern Munich for £100 this summer, Spurs are short in attack and so far Richarlison has failed to impress since moving from Everton to Tottenham.
It is understood that Johnson is ready to leave the City Ground and is desperate to play European football and is confident that at Tottenham he will obtain that goal. Forest will accept a £50 million offer for Johnson.
