Arsenal have sold winger for just £3m
Arsenal have offloaded Nicolas Pepe to Trabzonspor for just £3 million, according to Get French Football News.
The Ivorian was deemed surplus to requirements by the Gunners, and he was initially touted to move to Saudi Arabia.
However, Pepe was not excited by the prospect of moving to the Middle East and he has now made the switch to Turkey.
Trabzonspor officially confirmed his arrival on Thursday night, and it is now revealed that Arsenal will receive £3m.
The Gunners have made a substantial loss on the winger, considering they bought him for a staggerring £72m in 2019.
Pepe made more than 45 goal contributions for the club over the past four years, but his impact was limited in the league.
After falling out-of-favour under Mikel Arteta, he has now chosen to revive his career with a move to the Super Lig.
Aside from Pepe, Cedric Soares could leave the club in the coming days with interest from multiple Turkish sides.
