London giants handed boost in signing 27yo striker
London giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a boost in signing Brentford striker Ivan Toney this winter.
The Englishman is currently on an eight-month ban for breaching FA betting rules and he won't return to action until mid-January.
Despite this, he continues to attract transfer interest and reports claim that he could leave the Bees at the beginning of next year.
Toney has already held talks with head coach Thomas Frank and the club are prepared to sell him for the right price this winter.
Brentford are expected to demand around £60 million for the striker, who netted 20 goals in the Premier League last season.
Chelsea have already taken the lead by speaking with his entourage, but Arsenal and Spurs are set to provide competition.
The Gunners want to add more quality in the final third while Spurs see Toney as a replacement for the departed Harry Kane.
The Bees will be hoping for a bidding battle such that they can get their desired fee for the centre-forward in the next transfer window.
