Predicted Chelsea line-up vs Brighton tonight

Chelsea welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Stamford Bridge for the Carabao Cup third round tie tonight.

The Blues are currently on a three-match goalless run and will be hoping to end the streak against the Seagulls.

Predicted Line-up:

Mauricio Pochettino is likely to rotate his goalkeeper for the Cup tie. We should see Djordje Petrovic making his debut, replacing Robert Sanchez.

In defence, Axel Disasi could occupy the right-back role with Malo Gusto suspended. Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill are likely to start in central defence with Ben Chilwell at left-back.

The midfield could consist of Lesley Ugochukwu and Conor Gallagher with Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo likely to be rested with a view to the crucial Premier League games ahead.

Further forward, Noni Madueke is a strong candidate to start on the right wing as part of the rotation. Cole Palmer could feature in the number 10 role with Ian Maatsen on the left wing.

Nicolas Jackson is suspended for the next Premier League game after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign. As a result, he should lead the line ahead of Armando Broja.

Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Disasi, Thiago Silva, Colwill, Chilwell; Ugochukwu, Gallagher; Madueke, Palmer, Maatsen; Jackson
