Arsenal leading Chelsea in race to sign £60m striker
Arsenal are reportedly favourites ahead of Chelsea to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney during the January transfer window.
The Englishman is currently midway through his ban for breaching FA betting rules and he will return to action from mid-January.
Ahead of this, he is already working on his fitness with the Bees and reports claim that he will leave the club at the turn of the year.
The Blues have been working behind the scenes to convince the striker, but reports claim that the striker will favour the Gunners.
Mikel Arteta's side surprised many with their title pursuit last term. They lead the league table for eight months before falling off.
They have had another fine start to the campaign and look good value to compete for the English crown for a second straight year.
Taking this into regard, Toney could be tempted to join them over the Blues, who are still in transition at the current point of time.
