Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez has said that he does not have a representative amid interest from the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea.

The Mexican star has been in sensational form for the Eredivisie outfit this term and he has bagged 15 goals and three assists in the current campaign.

This has led to huge speculation over his next club and FIFA intermediary Pagniello recently claimed that Real Madrid and Spurs want him.

Amidst this, Gimenez has clarified that the statements have come from a source far from his environment and he does not have any agent.

He said: "In the last few hours, statements have come out about my future that have emerged from sources far from my environment."

"Given this situation, I would like to clarify that I do not have a representative and that the person in charge of my career is my father with the help of Mariel."

Gimenez has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge away from Feyenoord. A transfer could materialise at the end of the campaign.

The striker was valued at around £30m last summer, but Feyenoord plan to double his price amid his outstanding progress at the club.
