Arsenal & Chelsea quoted hefty price to sign Ivan Toney
Arsenal and Chelsea will need to pay a staggering £100 million to sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney during the January transfer window.
The Englishman is currently serving a suspension from FA following his betting breaches. He is not allowed to play again until January 17.
This has not ended the speculation over his future and it has been reported in recent weeks that he could leave when the transfer window reopens.
Fabrizio Romano recently claimed that the Bees could look for £65m to sanction his sale, but Sky Sports reveal that their demands are higher.
The west London outfit consider Toney as a vital player in their squad and they may not entertain bids of less than £100 million this winter.
The news will come as a huge blow for his suitors, who were hoping to sign him for a lesser transfer fee. The Bees have no plans of negotiate.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with Toney in recent weeks, but the north London giants are unlikely to meet the valuation as well.
