Man Utd get boost with forward back in training
Manchester United have received a boost with Marcus Rashford back in training with England after his collision.
The 26-year-old suffered a nasty collision with Trent Alexander-Arnold during England's win over Malta. He was substituted within five minutes of the incident.
Speaking after the 2-0 victory, manager Gareth Southgate said that it was nothing serious and Rashford has now reported for training with the Three Lions.
The Three Lions have already qualified for the Euro 2024 proper, but they will want to end their qualifying campaign on a high with a win over North Macedonia.
Rashford had a difficult outing against Malta last time around. He won just two out of eight duels and failed to register a shot on target before he was subbed off.
It remains to be seen whether he will get the nod in the starting line-up against Macedonia. Southgate may opt for Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka over him.
Rashford has been in a poor run of form this term and he has netted just two goals for club and country over the past few months.
