Goals from Tom Huddlestone of Tottenham and Mark Noble of West Ham have gifted England a great 2-0 victory over Bulgaria's U21 side an continued their excellent Euro 2009 qualifying campaign.
It took 25 mins to get off the mark, and James Milner made tracks down the right before backheeling to Noble, who found Huddlestone on the edge of the area with his cross. The Spurs midfielder hit the volley first time and it skidded through Nikolay Mihaylov, the Liverpool goalkeeper currently on loan at FC Twente.
The second came in the 32nd minute, with Gabriel Agbonlahor racing down the left, then the ball was eventually worked to Matt Derbyshire, who knocked Noble through to creep past Mihaylov and finish for his first U21 goal for England.
