Ivan Toney opens door for Brentford departure
Arsenal and Chelsea target Ivan Toney has opened the door to leaving Brentford during the winter transfer window.
The 27-year-old had a fantastic 2022/23 season with Brentford, scoring 21 goals in all competitions before his betting ban.
He will be back in action from this weekend and when pressed on his future, the Englishman refused to rule out a departure.
He said: "Everybody wants to play for a top club, that is fighting for titles."
"Whether it's this January that is the right time for a club to come in and pay the right money, who knows?"
"But my main focus is to do what I do on the pitch, and let the background work take care of itself."
Toney previously said that he is committed to the west London side and he is not looking for a way out during the current window.
He has now revealed a change in stance in a fresh interview which suggests that he is prepared to move on if an agreement is reached.
