Arsenal midfielder won't return until February after surgery
Arsenal midfielder Fabio Vieira could be sidelined until February, having yet to recover from his groin surgery.
The Portuguese picked up the setback in the final week of November and he has since been in the treatment room.
He was spotted with the rest of the Gunners squad during the warm weather camp in Dubai but did not train with them.
It is now revealed that the former Porto star could be out of action for at least another two weeks. He is touted to return to training soon.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is likely to take extra caution with the midfielder and won't rush him back to action until he is fully fit.
Aside from Vieira, Thomas Partey is also yet to be involved in training. He is anticipated to make his comeback by January 31.
The Ghanaian could be in the matchday squad when the Gunners travel to City Ground to face Nottingham Forest this month.
