Jurgen Klopp provides injury update on Gravenberch
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp provided an injury update on Ryan Gravenberch following the Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea.
The Reds had plenty of injury concerns prior to the game and the likes of Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota were unavailable.
Despite this, they stood out on the occasion. The Merseyside giants controlled possession and had more attempts on goal. They eventually won the final with a late extra-time winner from Virgil van Dijk.
Speaking after the game, Klopp was asked plenty of questions and one of those was on Ryan Gravenberch, who had to be stretchered off the field early after a rash challenge from Moises Caicedo.
Klopp was unhappy with the midfielder not receiving a booking and added that there is a concern with the ligaments of Gravenberch, he said: "They did an x-ray [on Gravenberch], it is not broken but the ligaments got something. I actually feel really bad, but everything else is really good."
