David Ornstein names six players Arsenal could sell this summer

Arsenal are likely to be busy during the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

The Gunners have had another top campaign in the Premier League and they are currently in the mix for the top-flight title.

Meanwhile, the club are also into the round of 16 stage of the Champions League and will be aiming to progress further.

Despite this, there will be more investment into the squad this summer. The spending could coincide with a number of exits.

In a Q&A session, Ornstein has now revealed that Aaron Ramsdale, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah could leave at the end of the campaign.

He said: "You could envisage Aaron Ramsdale, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah all being looked at by suitors. I expect a really busy summer at the Emirates."

The Gunners are currently not under any risk of breaching Financial Fair Play limits, but the hierarchy will want to remain on the safer side with player sales during the next transfer window.

The club will be aiming to recoup at least £100-140m from exits. They will need to be pro-active this summer, having left it late to recoup funds last year. They ended up negotiating loan deals.
