Arne Slot provides injury update on two Liverpool stars
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has provided an injury update on two players following the 2-0 Premier League win over Manchester City at Anfield.
The Merseyside giants continued their exceptional run of form under Slot with a convincing win over the reigning champions at home.
Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah were the goalgetters. City were dreadful in the final third and never looked like finding the back of the net.
Speaking after the game, Slot was presented with several questions. One of those was focused on the injured Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley.
The Dutchman said that the pair will be out of action for a few weeks, but he can't provide an exact timeframe when they will return.
He said: "They will both be out for a few weeks. I have said many times before, it's always difficult to judge how many weeks this exactly is."
Liverpool have moved nine points clear at the top of the standings and they look in pole position to win their second Premier League title.
Arsenal and Chelsea are nine points adrift of them at the moment while holders City are 11 points behind after losing four on the trot.
