Arsenal handed big injury boost ahead of Brentford trip

Arsenal have been handed a big injury boost ahead of the Premier League derby against Brentford on New Year's Day.
The Gunners continued their winning streak on Friday night with a 1-0 victory over newcomers Ipswich Town.
Speaking after the game, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed good news on Raheem Sterling, who is out with a knee injury.
It was initially suggested that he could be sidelined for many weeks, but there is positive news after further examination.
The winger has avoided a potential long-term injury and could be assessed in the lead-up to the derby against the Bees.
Sterling has had a poor loan season from Chelsea, but he could transform his fortunes in the back end of the campaign.
With Bukayo Saka out until March with a hamstring injury, Sterling has the chance to make the right wing position his own.
The Englishman has found plenty of success in the role in the past and has the chance to revive his career with Arsenal.
