Newcastle missing two key players for Carabao Cup tie vs Arsenal
Newcastle United will be without the services of Fabian Schar and Bruno Guimaraes for the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Arsenal tomorrow.
The Magpies have been in exceptional form in the Premier League and they recently picked up their sixth-straight win by beating Tottenham Hotspur on the road.
The Tyneside outfit will return to north London to face the Gunners on Tuesday night and ahead of the game, they will be without two key starters.
Schar picked up his second yellow card of the Carabao Cup in the last round and he will serve a one-game suspension in the opening leg of the semi-final.
Guimaraes will suffer the same fate. The Brazilian's absence could be a blow for the Magpies as Sean Longstaff does not provide the same midfield presence.
Arsenal will be hoping to capitalise on this. Mikel Arteta's side will be eyeing a strong performance and a big-margin win before the reverse leg at St James' Park.
