Senderos eyes Arsenal stay
Philippe Senderos wants to stay at Arsenal next season, despite rumours he was looking for a summer exit. The Swiss international has grown increasingly frustrated as William Gallas and Kolo Toure played instead of him; but is willing to wait for his turn.
He said: "I am under contract with Arsenal until 2010 and there is no reason why I should not honour it.
"I have taken part in over 30 matches this season. I've played some big games in the Champions League and gained in experience.
"There is nothing in my record to make me blush. The reports that I had a nervous breakdown after the Liverpool game are false. I simply accepted the blame for their first goal.
"I was then the victim of the manager's selections."
