Arsenal handed massive double injury boost for PSG game
Arsenal have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners host the French champions at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow. Ahead of the game, they have received a big injury boost.
Mikel Merino and Ben White were absent for the recent draw against Crystal Palace in the Premier League, but the duo are back in training.
They will be assessed over the next 24 hours, but manager Mikel Arteta has hinted that the duo will be available to make the matchday squad.
Merino has been a revelation as the makeshift striker, but the Spaniard could feature in the heart of the midfield against Les Parisiens.
Thomas Partey is suspended for the encounter and the Gunners will have to compensate for the same with Merino in central midfield.
Leandro Trossard has played as a false number nine in recent games and could be called upon to do something similar against PSG.
