Arsenal keen on signing talented AC Milan winger

Arsenal are working behind the scenes to sign AC Milan winger Rafael Leao during the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider.

The Gunners are likely to bolster their attack ahead of next season. A marquee striker is the main priority, but the club are also keen on landing a left-sided winger to compete with Gabriel Martinelli. Leandro Trossard could be on his way to the Saudi Pro League this summer.

It is now claimed that the club are carefully monitoring Leao's situation and could make an approach for the Portuguese star. Leao has had a mixed campaign at Milan, but has still managed 25 goal contributions.

The Rossoneri consider him as a key part of their plans, but they could be compelled to sell him for a huge fee. The club may have to balance their books after missing out on Champions League qualification.

Milan reportedly set a huge asking price of £85m for the 25-year-old last year, but they could lower their valuation ahead of the next transfer window.
