Arsenal still want to sign 21yo striker ahead of Gyokeres
Arsenal are still keen on signing RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko despite their recent interest in Viktor Gyokeres, as per TNAT Patreon.
The Gunners are expected to spend big on a marquee centre-forward and Gyokeres has recently been mentioned as the prime target.
Reports in Portugal have claimed that a contract offer has been made to the striker and a formal bid could be tabled in the coming days.
However, TNAT claim that Sesko is still the priority target for the Gunners and Gyokeres has been identified as the fallback option.
The 21-year-old was a leading target for the Gunners last summer, but he turned down their interest to extend his stay at Leipzig.
However, he is expected to part ways with the Bundesliga outfit this time around, considering they won't be in the Champions League next term.
Sesko could be available for a package of around £67 million. Arsenal could prioritise him over Gyokeres due to his immense potential.
