Man Utd have complete agreement to sign 26yo star - David Ornstein
Manchester United have reached a complete agreement to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers star Matheus Cunha this summer, according to David Ornstein.
The Red Devils are expected to make multiple additions to their attack ahead of next season. Cunha is the number one target and an agreement has now been sealed with Wolves.
United have accepted to pay the player's £62.5 million release clause over a two-year spell. They will reportedly pay an initial £20.83m in the upcoming transfer window.
The club were initially keen on negotiating a five-year payment plan with Wolves, but the Black Cats made it clear that such an agreement would not be entertained.
Cunha will travel to Manchester for his medical in the coming days before signing a five-year deal. He is expected to wear the iconic number 10 shirt next season.
Marcus Rashford has worn the shirt over the past seven years but the United graduate is expected to be sold in the coming weeks. Barcelona are among admirers.
