Man Utd ready to battle Arsenal for £59m striker?

Manchester United could compete with Arsenal to land the signature of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres this summer, as per O Jogo.
The Red Devils are expected to make multiple signings during the summer transfer window. They have already recruited Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo could follow him.
Mbeumo was on the radar of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, but the Cameroon international has reportedly told the Bees that he wants to join the Red Devils ahead of next season.
United are also lining up a new striker and O Jogo claim that the Red Devils are in the first line alongside the Gunners to purchase Gyokeres this summer.
The Swede has yet to make a decision regarding his future, but he has a gentleman's agreement to leave Sporting CP for £59m in the current transfer window.
United may require player sales to afford him. Rasmus Hojlund could be offloaded before the club make a genuine approach for his services.
