£64m star arrives in London ahead of Arsenal medical

Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres has arrived in London tonight ahead of his medical with Arsenal, according to Sportbladet.

The Sweden international is one of the best strikers in world football. He netted a staggering 54 goals during the previous campaign.

He has now agreed to join the Gunners in a deal worth £64 million, and will undergo his medical in the English capital over the weekend.

Gyokeres was spotted arriving in London today, and it appears only a matter of time before the Gunners announce his signing.

The 27-year-old will wear the club's iconic number 14 shirt and could make his friendly debut against Tottenham Hotspur next week.

He is expected to travel to Singapore as soon as his medical is complete tomorrow, but is unlikely to face Newcastle United on Sunday.

Cristhian Mosquera was recently confirmed as the club's newest summer signing and he is more likely to face the Tyneside outfit.

The Spaniard was spotted training with the group earlier today.
