Mikel Arteta confirms fresh Arsenal injury doubt vs Liverpool

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a fresh injury doubt ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The Gunners have had a fantastic start to the campaign with back-to-back wins, and will be aiming to extend the streak against the Reds on the road.

Ahead of the game, Arteta has revealed a fresh concern with Leandro Trossard. The Belgian picked up a knock in the 5-0 win over Leeds United.

Alongside Trossard, the likes of Martin Odegaard, Ben White and Christian Norgaard will be assessed in the lead up to the Premier League encounter.

Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz have already been ruled out. The former could return shortly after the September international break.

The Gunners have made seven signings during the ongoing transfer window, and there could be further activity before Monday's deadline.

Arsenal are in advanced talks with Bayer Leverkusen for defender Piero Hincapie and a transfer could be formally sorted in the next 24 hours.
