Rio Ferdinand makes Arsenal title prediction after Liverpool loss

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has made his Premier League prediction on Arsenal after Liverpool's defeat against Manchester United.
The Gunners extended their lead at the top of the league to three points following the Reds' surprise 2-1 defeat to United at Anfield.
Speaking after the game, Ferdinand said that the Gunners have been his pick to win the title and they are favourites due to the squad depth.
He said: "I said before a ball was kicked this season that Arsenal, this is their chance to win the league.
"I felt they had to do it this year and couldn’t come second again.
"They’ve got a wonderful group of players, it’s probably the best squad in terms of depth in the league.
"They are my favourites to win the Premier League."
Arsenal are presently three points ahead of Manchester City at the summit and have the opportunity to extend the gap in the coming weeks.
Man City face Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Liverpool in the next three league games. Liverpool take on Brentford and Villa before the trip to the Etihad Stadium.
In the same period, Arsenal have Crystal Palace, Burnley and Sunderland. The club have an easier schedule on paper and must capitalise and win each of their games.
Prior to Palace's visit to the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal will host Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
