Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Crystal Palace, Gabriel doubtful

Mikel Arteta news

Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Crystal Palace today

Arsenal will be aiming for a seventh consecutive win in all competitions when they entertain Crystal Palace in the Premier League this afternoon.

Ahead of the game, manager Mikel Arteta could make three changes from the 4-0 rout of Atletico Madrid in the Champions League in midweek.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya has kept five clean sheets in the Premier League and will be eyeing another shutout against the Eagles at the Emirates Stadium.

Jurrien Timber is assured to start at right-back while Riccardo Calafiori could come in for Myles Lewis-Skelly in the left-back role.

Calafiori has been ever-present in the Premier League, registering one goal and two assists. He should be reinstated into the starting XI once more.

With Gabriel Magalhaes doubtful, Cristhian Mosquera could come in to partner William Saliba in the heart of the defence for Arsenal.

The midfield will stay unchanged. Martin Zubimendi should partner Declan Rice in the centre of the park with Eberechi Eze in the no.10 role.

Bukayo Saka is a guaranteed starter on the right wing. Leandro Trossard looks likely to get the nod over Gabriel Martinelli on the opposite end.

Martinelli did score in the win over Atletico, but Trossard could be picked after his crucial winner against Fulham in the league last weekend.

Upfront, Viktor Gyokeres is expected to lead the line on his own. The Swede ended his long scoreless streak against Atletico with a brace.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Crystal Palace: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Mosquera, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Eze, Trossard; Gyokeres.
