Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Chelsea, Gabriel Martinelli starts

Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Chelsea today

Arsenal will be aiming their 10th win of the Premier League campaign when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this evening.

Ahead of the game, the Gunners have received a double injury boost with Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus having travelled with the team.

The duo are expected to undergo late fitness tests before the derby.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya is guaranteed to continue between the sticks for the Gunners. He will be eyeing his first clean sheet in four matches.

In front of him, it should be the same backline from the 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori will slot in the full-back roles, while William Saliba is expected to partner Piero Hincapie in the heart of the Gunners' backline.

The midfield is already sorted for the north London giants. Martin Zubimendi will line up as the defensive midfielder, with Declan Rice in the no.8 role. Eberechi Eze will operate as the playmaker. Martin Odegaard could make another cameo appearance after his recent injury return.

In the final third, Bukayo Saka is set to continue on the right wing, but there could be a change on the opposite end with Leandro Trossard not fully fit after his knock in midweek against Bayern.

Gabriel Martinelli, who has scored two goals at Stamford Bridge in the past, should slot in on the left wing. Mikel Merino is a clear frontrunner for the number nine role. Gyokeres and Jesus could feature off the bench, having had limited training sessions after respective injuries.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Hincapie, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Eze, Martinelli; Merino.
