Barcelona make shock offer for Marcus Rashford

Barcelona are reportedly keen on negotiating another season-long loan deal for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The Blaugrana signed the England international on a temporary basis from United last summer. He has already bagged 13 goals and 13 assists for the La Liga giants.

The club have the option to purchase him for 26 million pounds at the end of the campaign, but the hierarchy are not in a strong financial position to pay the transfer fee in a single payment.

With plans to bring in a marquee striker too, the Blaugrana are ready to discuss another loan stint for the Red Devils graduate in the summer.

United are reluctant to consider such a proposal. Rashford could be reintegrated into the squad when a new manager takes over at the helm.

At the moment, interim manager Michael Carrick is a favourite to take control permanently. He is open to a reunion with Rashford next term.
