Napoli & Atletico want to sign Man Utd star for £24m

Napoli and Atletico Madrid are keen on landing the signature of Manchester United midfielder Manuel Ugarte this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan has endured a tough career with the Red Devils, and he has hardly started games in the ongoing Premier League campaign. Casemiro has got the nod over him.

Hence, there is a genuine possibility that he could head for the exit door and reports claim that Napoli and Atletico have already contacted his agent regarding a transfer.

United spent around 42 million pounds, including add-ons, to sign him from Paris Saint-Germain, but are now prepared to sanction his sale for around 24 million pounds.

The Red Devils are preparing for a busy summer ahead with the prospect of landing two defensive midfielders. Casemiro is already confirmed to leave when his contract expires on June 30.

Real Madrid star Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly one of the prime targets for the Mancunian giants. He could leave if Los Blancos were to sign Rodri or Enzo Fernandez.
