Arsenal are planning to pursue a deal for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers, irrespective of their ongoing interest in Christos Tzolis.

The Gunners have made formal contact with Club Brugge for Tzolis, who had a sensational 2025/26 season with 22 goals and 29 assists.

The Greek star could be signed for around £35 million, and manager Mikel Arteta has given the green light to secure an agreement.

Irrespective of this, Arsenal are also exploring a transfer for Rogers.

The 23-year-old has been one of the standout forwards in the English top-flight and he is seen as an upgrade for Arsenal on the left wing.

Both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli have been touted to leave this summer, and they could be replaced by Tzolis and Rogers.

Rogers is expected to cost a premium transfer fee and it is reported that Villa could demand at least £100m for the Manchester City graduate.

Arsenal have held initial talks with the player's agent over a move.
