Wayne Bridge to Man City?
Chelsea's left back Wayne Bridge is being linked with Premiership rivals Man City. Sven-Goran Eriksson is keen to bring in another left back and use summer signing Garrido as backup.
Should Eriksson sign Bridge, it is estimated the player may cost over £6m. Wayne Bridge has fallen out of favour since Ashley Cole's arrival at Chelsea from Arsenal; however, many Chelsea supporters actually believe that Wayne Bridge is the better player.
Ashley Cole has lost much of his attacking duties since leaving Arsenal, and it is believed that Wayne Bridge is a better defensive player than Cole.
Bridge only just signed a new contract at Chelsea, but the offer of more regular first-team football and a matched wage could tempt Bridge away from the London side.
