Roy Keane admires Joe Cole

Sunderland boss Roy Keane has admitted that he has always been a big fan of Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole. Keane has even suggested perhaps making a bid for the player one day.

eane revealed: "Joe has come on in leaps and bounds. I liked him a lot more than Frank (Lampard) at West Ham because he’s probably naturally more gifted. We’ve known since he was a kid how skilful Joe is, but he’s worked on being more of a team player.

"He looks tougher and that is credit to Jose Mourinho."
