Cudicini to Arsenal?

Arsenal have been linked with a shock move for Italian goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini, who is currently the number 2 at Chelsea, as Wenger becomes rapidly concerned with the form of Manuel Almunia.

Cudicini could join Arsenal in January on loan, with the option of a permanent deal for the former Lazio keeper.

Petr Cech displaced Cudicini from the Chelsea first team 3 years ago, and since the Italian has suffered with a lack of confidence from his managers and injury issues.

Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari could allow the player to move to Arsenal to improve the player's fitness and give him a taste of Preiership action.
