Terry eyes Hiddink long term
Chelsea skipper John Terry is hoping that new boss Guus Hiddink is going to stay at the club for the long term. The Dutchman has a contract until the end of the season at Stamford Bridge.
"I like the fact that Guus Hiddink has stayed loyal to the Russian team," Terry is quoted as saying in various British newspapers.
"He's taken them a long way in a short space of time and I admire his loyalty. We've got six months to turn things round and if we do he'll probably get offered the full-time job.
"It's up to us to put in the performances and get the results for him, and hopefully something can be done in the summer."
