Chelsea chasing Adebayor?

This morning, there have been rumours that Emmanuel Adebayor is a target for Chelsea. It is believed that Roman Abramovich is a big fan of the player, and will be instructing the club to make an offer for the Arsenal man.

Adebayor only recently put pen to paper on a brand new contract, but has never hidden his desire for more money and is known to be very ambitious.

Arsene Wenger is reluctant to sell any of his stars, but as the Ashley Cole saga proved a few years back, every player has his price.

It is understood that for £19 million, Adebayor could very well be allowed to discuss terms with the Blues.
