Adebayor: we'll sign Terry

Man City forward Emmanuel Adebayor is confident that the club can match the ambition shown by signing him, and add England captain John Terry to their ranks before the start of the new Premiership season.

In an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Adebayor insisted that John Terry is very much ready to be a City player.

“I think there is a big possibility John will join us,” said the frontman.

”People didn't believe six months ago that Carlos Tevez, or myself, would be playing here.

“We have come to Manchester City to be the big team. Why shouldn't John be persuaded to come here, too?”
