Liverpool boss couldn't keep Crouch

Peter Crouch was not willing to stay at Liverpool, according to his former boss Rafa Benitez. Crouch has since joined Tottenham and rejoined Harry Redknapp.

"He is a fantastic boy and very clever, but he knew that Torres was the first choice and it would be more difficult for him," said Benitez.

Crouch then later moved on to Portsmouth and has since joined Tottenham.
